👋🏾 hey all, new here and glad to be in. I run oaklens.art, my photography site (rebuilt by hand off Squarespace so I actually own it now). I also just launched analogs.network, an open-source webring for independent creative sites. Old-web idea with a small 2026 twist: it's a living map that visibly grows as sites join. Figured this was the room that'd get it. Happy to be around.

highstrike300[d]: Any server will do in my opinion. Extra credit to those who self-host. In my opinion that's the hight of small web. I don't. My site is dumped on git and hosted through Cloudflare, so basically top tier corporate. Still, I think my site is small web. I made it. It's mine.

In terms of “people on the wiki” remember that the intent of the wiki is not to include absolutely every human being with a personal website they would call “indie”— it's more illustrative of techniques. @tantek There was one I came across a couple of months ago, but can't recall the name. Some kind of blog submission thing with upvotes. Obvious AI-generated website, clear appeal to "IndieWeb" / "Small Web", but just looked like something someone slapped together to make a quick buck

Great post [capjamesg]. I think my website has evolved from an attempt at a professional placeholder to something that documents some engagement with community and web standards. Definitely small audience, but some really good times with it.
