  • [@li] After 6 months with bearblog, 11ty and even micro.blog again, maybe the (link: https://lee-perry.co.uk text: kirby site) I started with was the most functionally complete. I'm going to try to simplify and update the design, and perhaps move it onto my new shorter url. #indieWeb (https://social.lol/@li/116223818229800821)

  • [@simoncarstensen] I had a small revelation about Jottit recently. I'd been thinking of it as a site builder: create pages, add a menu, set up a subdomain. • [@li] 🧑‍💻Experiment - looking to simplify my flow (and for an excuse to play with code), how closely can I replicate what my 11ty site does in Hugo, as constrained by micro.blog, now that I’ve done this a few times? …lets find out! #indieweb (https://social.lol/@li/116193068781704219)

  • [manton.org] Jatan Mehta on exploring where to host his fediverse presence, from Mastodon to Ghost to Micro.blog. Whenever I read something like this, it reaffirms our decision to take a quieter approach to the social web. Less counting, less noise. • Hi Jrz 👋 There's already no need for someone to run a server, or build their own website, because services like http://Micro.blog exist 🙂 Or even "WYSIWYG" website editors, like SquareSpace (not that I'd advise that route specifically 😅) AI may help lower certain barriers, but there are definitely ways to climb over them already
