Is there a general consensus on using microformats classes for CSS styling? I've learned from poor experiences with the WordPress universe that one is far better off leaving mf as semantic classes and creating alternate classes for styling.

ben_thatmustbeme's list is at https://ben.thatmustbe.me/whitelist and is linked from his homepage as rel-alternate, AS2 format apparently: http://stream.thatmustbe.us/?op=mf2-as2&url=https%3A%2F%2Fben.thatmustbe.me%2F%2Fwhitelist

I think both hreflang="" on <a> and hreflang="" on lnk rel-alternate as well as lang="" within the page itself all serves their purpose depending on what setup one is going for :)

like if you have a page translated to spanish in your site but you don't have spanish translation for the h-card that's embedded within, we shouldn't consider a rel alternate with spanish language as a translation for the h-card itself
