My initial thoughts on Twitter API changes: I’m going to pay Twitter to preserve POSSE from Micro.blog for a limited time, tentatively thinking 2-6 months, to give people time to wind down their use of Twitter. There’s no future with Twitter. A sad but predictable end, I guess.

[manton.org] FediForum is this week! On Thursday I’ll be demoing how Micro.blog fits into the fediverse, and I’ll join in other sessions when I can. You can see the schedule here. (https://www.manton.org/2023/03/27/fediforum-is-this.html)

Also on another note, I guess you're still not seeing my @-mentions from my pod to your micro.blog actor inbox?

[aaronpk] This sounds like the issue where we don’t reconcile different Micro.blog “accounts” together… So `@aaronpk`, `@aaronparecki.com`, ActivityPub, etc. I need to make it so that these are all the same thing.

[manton] there are apparently 3 copies of my last photo on micro.blog with different permalinks, i got webmentions sent for each. did something change about how multiple feeds are imported? I do think I have several feeds being imported like my home page, my photos page, etc

I’ve gone out of my way to not require conneg anywhere in Micro.blog except in one place where it can’t be avoided (actor URL requests).

Curious if [aaronpk] or anyone has feedback about this… After talking to another developer who wasn’t familiar with IndieAuth, I decided to write a help page from the perspective of thinking in OAuth when using Micro.blog. I was thinking maybe it’s a stepping stone… First use OAuth, then add the “prompt for domain name” at the beginning of the flow so it works with other blogs. https://help.micro.blog/t/oauth-in-micro-blo

[snarfed] I’m considering adding .well-known/nodeinfo support so Micro.blog is included in stats trackers like https://fediverse.observer/stats. Curious if Bridgy Fed supports this?
