!tell [manton] is there a posting size/length limit for micro.blog notes? e.g. Twitter had 140 then 280, Mastodon has 500 char limit default, etc. I checked the help.micro.blog but didn't find anything about note posting limits (is the answer "There is no limit"?)

!tell [manton] do you have a solution for connecting the dots between a Mastodon export of posts in "ActivityPub JSON format" (note: there is no such thing, there is Activity Streams 2.0) per https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/moving/#export and transforming that into Blog Archive Format for import into micro.blog? Would be amazing if micro.blog was the first to support *full* (account info, followers, posts) migration from Mastodon

In Micro.blog, we support Markdown for “input” but everything goes through HTML otherwise. There is no server-to-server exchange using Markdown.

[manton.org] We redesigned the Micro.blog home page this year and it’s so much better. Yet I still wonder if we’re telling the complete story about what Micro.blog can do. Full blogs. Social network. ActivityPub. Podcast hosting. Newsletters. Tweet import. Hugo. Cross-posting. More open... (https://www.manton.org/2023/04/14/we-redesigned-the.html)
