  • I just have the one, which was hosting a Hugo photo gallery, but I have now moved that to a subdomain on Hetzner webhosting. There are definite pros (security) and cons (no SSH, only SFTP) but I'm not confident enough to set most things up on a server.

  • NegateThis: I'm only starting out with the /notes on my Hugo site via Indiekit, and I also use a feed (which will be paginated) style page that displays full content of notes and then each note has a permalink to its own page. Indiekit allows for automatic syndication to Mastodon, but I haven't gotten around to trying that yet. (I don't use bridgy)

  • I still grieve after the Pocket and none of alternatives satisfies me. I was thinking about doing something similar, on my site (static/Hugo) for easy access from anywhere. I also want easy addition from anywhere (like from mobile). Easiest way would be to setup a mailbox for that, and fetch periodically in Github action. Yaml or Json for storage. I was wondering if I'm not over-engineering, but it's just a mish-mash pattern ๐Ÿ˜„
