I've been very impressed with how http://micro.blog has worked out, tbh. And I love the community version of avoiding blank page syndrome - it's all one community while also being lots of little sites. That's the right balance.

That seems bad. I’ve been thinking about this as I prepare to open source the http://Micro.blog backend… Sadly I think I’m going to start over and lose the 8+ year commit history. I’m just not confident it is clean enough, and even less confident now after reading that blog post.

I’m taking a little time to write up a FEP to help clients/servers describe what fediverse features they support. Anyone have interest in providing feedback or co-authoring? [snarfed] maybe? I don’t know if this is right but I need it in http://Micro.blog and want to try to push it forward. This is inspired by some of what we did in Micropub. https://gist.github.com/manton/468092475325974027dedb7b38ca2218

[aaronpk] http://Micro.blog is a consumer of the client_id change too. Sorry, I should’ve mentioned it, went live about a week ago.

[manton] You also need to ~get better at~ continue improving how you market http://Micro.blog; no idea how, but some people are especially good at (over) hyping their wares. That said, those are also usually the sort of people I try to avoid… 😅
