  • Hey all. Just getting started on indieweb. I'm mostly setup @ https://integratn.io. But what I'm having trouble wrapping my head around webmentions. I'm running Hugo with this theme. The theme documentation says I just need to add my webmentions login which is `integran.io` and ping `back: true` . I tried commenting on a twitter post that I had syndicated so that it linked back. But i'm not having any luck.

  • [jacky] Late reply here… When I moved from Jekyll to Hugo, I originally had a “blog engine” field internally which I imagined could allow someone to choose from various blog types. But I decided to go all-in on Hugo and going to stick with it because it makes sharing themes easier if users can depend on one format.

  • WordPress and Jekyll are great, used Hugo for a couple of sites recently and that's also really nice. IMO it's all about the indieweb philosophy of owning your content.
