  • [edit] Do many folks implement support for https://github.com/indieweb/micropub-extensions/issues/33? Possibly just me and barryf, but maybe Micro.blog via Manton?

  • A challenge on the indieweb can either mean a blogging challenge, a list of questions to answer or a topic to write about in a post, sometimes tagged/invited by others to do so, or an ongoing event-like post which invites people to post achievements towards a goal for a specific time period, like exercise or posting photos at some frequency (daily), also supported by silos like Strava and micro.blog https://indieweb.org/blogging_challenge

  • [@li] After 6 months with bearblog, 11ty and even micro.blog again, maybe the (link: https://lee-perry.co.uk text: kirby site) I started with was the most functionally complete. I'm going to try to simplify and update the design, and perhaps move it onto my new shorter url. #indieWeb (https://social.lol/@li/116223818229800821)

  • [@simoncarstensen] I had a small revelation about Jottit recently. I'd been thinking of it as a site builder: create pages, add a menu, set up a subdomain. Then someone on micro.blog just created a post and shared it with me, and it clicked.... (https://mastodon.social/@simoncarstensen/116200119249836867)

  • [@li] 🧑‍💻Experiment - looking to simplify my flow (and for an excuse to play with code), how closely can I replicate what my 11ty site does in Hugo, as constrained by micro.blog, now that I’ve done this a few times? …lets find out! #indieweb (https://social.lol/@li/116193068781704219)

  • [manton.org] Jatan Mehta on exploring where to host his fediverse presence, from Mastodon to Ghost to Micro.blog. Whenever I read something like this, it reaffirms our decision to take a quieter approach to the social web. Less counting, less noise. • I often refer to http://micro.blog and omg.lol as the “solved” versions of a beginner-friendly on-ramp to the indieweb. All of the building blocks are there as features to be used, not specs to be read.

  • I dunno. that's often true - fediverse, Nostr, SSB, etc - but not always. Bluesky and http://micro.blog are imo two counterexamples
