in my unending quest of brainstorming webmention filtering / ordering, since so much of the backlog is from Twitter, I'm considering another algorithm/heuristic of a "positive" signal. if a tweet reply is from an account that rel=me validates with an IndieWeb site, then that's more "real" than other twitter accounts

Exactly cjw6k, it's awkward messy unobvious stuff that if we were to help with even minimal guidelines, it would helps set more positive defaults, so that at least folks that want to do the right thing but aren't sure how would have some guidance they could use.

On another positive subject, anyone know where this states-as-squares infogeographic design came from and/or has anyone implemented it with data from their own site?

Point being, it's more important to provide support for a positive (join IndieWeb!) than it is to provide support for a negative (want to be added to silo-quits?)

Now that it's the 101st day of the year, I should say I'm so far behind in my 100 Day challenge but I am able to report that I *do* have positive photos to post for each day (taken each day), and that I finally posted my photo(s) from the last day of March. Lots of (likely out of order) backfill coming up when I can. Since it's been a while and I was quite happy with these photos (especially the first one), sharing here:

Web We Found was a talk and presentation by {{kevinmarks]] at Le Web 2013 that summarized the start of various positive trends and patterns from 2003 onward, like blogging, building on open protocols, which have grown since, many incorporated into the IndieWeb, and provides hopeful counterpoint to [[The Web We Lost]].

IWC London organizers ([Cheuk] [calumryan] [Ana_Rodrigues]), looks like you made the right call. A week or so beforehand, though at a much larger conference in Paris: https://decrypt.co/22616/paris-eth-conference-16-and-counting-test-positive-for-coronavirus
