I really like the duality of "cook what you eat"/"eat what you cook"; I think it's positive that the principles are clearly linked together. That said, I generally prefer "make what you want" (or similar literal variations) as it feels more obvious and less jargon-like. I'd personally prefer something like "make what you want"/"use what you make" to 'replace' those two principle

  • I mean sure, there's a lot of design aspects of Twitter that likely contribute to its problematic nature. I'm not sure that "realtime" is essentially the cause of those problems though maybe it may amplify some of them? In other contexts (e.g. chat like here, or GitHub comments showing up on an issue while you're looking at it), real time is quite positive
