"Don't be surprised if smaller platforms, including those with or adding support for ActivityPub like micro.blog and Ghost, start adding AT protocol support over the next few years the same way Mastodon started with OStatus, then supported both OStatus and ActivityPub, then switched entirely to ActivityPub."

this is actually kind of what micro.blog is, since it's also a static site hosting platform under the hood

@cophee Sorry for the delay following up… I fixed an issue with http://Micro.blog sign-ups today that was very likely causing the problem. Let me know if you still have any trouble!

[byJP] Not sure I ever got Indiekit working with Sunlit. It previously worked with the http://Micro.blog iOS app, but that has repeatedly, and is currently, broken. I looked into debugging the app and making a PR (against the http://Micro.blog app), but it involves wrestling several different tangled technologies and dependencies, given it’s an iOS app built with React Native. Super frustrating, tbh.

I can see http://micro.blog being a better and shorter version of the path I took - do all your reading and writing in the same place without the hassle of setting up a blog or the pressure to write long form.

I feel like micro.blog should be before the other options, especially since it works on the Fediverse and Bluesky to some extent
