tantek: csarven left you a message 1 day, 6 hours ago: wiki/h-event should have a note for parsing when encountering class=vcalendar, i.e., it should know what its equivalent/implied context is, and if it is absent (i.e., no vcalendar or equivalent e.g., h-calendar) it should know that the whole doc is an h-calendar. If this was discussed already on IRC or somewhere else in the wiki, please kindly give a pointer to it on the wiki.

as someone who is likely "too close to the answer", I'd very much like your review of microformats.org/wiki/process, especially in comparison/contrast to the above advice, and pointing out what's either missing in microformats.org/wiki/process, or especially what makes no sense, or no longer makes any sense

!tell tantek hitting what is either an error in the mf2 tests and a bug in php-mf2 or something missing in the spec and a bug in mf2py. children elements seem to be getting a value: set, but not sure why. https://github.com/microformats/tests/blob/master/tests/microformats-v2/h-card/nested.html

nenuser9, that's an interesting use-case to automatically identify next/prev links to other members of a web ring. what if there are multiple webrings linked from a site, would it be useful to distinguish them or does it not matter for your use-case if any random webring link is followed?

tantek rel=publisher is for companies what rel=author is for people right? They melted Google Places into Google+ Pages and therefore they (as Google) gather all the links juice into one place: Google+ Pages. It's a smart decision and in this way, nobody can accuse them directly for manipulating search results by highlighting their internal businesses in front of the other, as people willingly will give them tons of links in this way.
