my site can store posts internally in plaintext, markdown, or HTML. I use markdown when I want to post things with simple markup like lists. so I have a way to tell quill to tell my site that the content type is markdown in some posts.

I have two that I use regularly now, Teacup and Airplane Time. They're not perfect by any means, but they are pretty simple and would be overkill as native apps, and also I probably wouldn't have been able to make a very good native app experience anyway

I mean it depends, am I on a phone? Cause then I expect some weird thing that doesn't work. On desktop I guess I'd expect a file to download, and if I use Apple Calendar then clicking it works mostly well, but if I'm using google calendar then I have to figure out where the "upload ics" link is
