honestly the most fun with indieweb I have because I can work on my own software and can use open source stuff for the hard parts (like the microformats parser, or posting to facebook/twitter)

often the implicit expectation here is, if you're sophisticated enough to be authoring microformats yourself, you want to try hard to consider your own site canonical in general, not a silo

when I consume microformats I do so from the parsed object, so it's kind of hard to find the "first h-feed" because it may be a child of any object at any depth

hiya hiya hello! i've been hard at work setting up my personal site lately (https://srxl.me), and the indieweb wiki has been a super helpful resource for getting my site compatible with open standards like microformats. figured i'd pop in and say hi and think you for making such a cool resource!

If you look into microformats, you need some additional classes so that the parser can find the information to pass to Twitter (or anywhere). That might be e-content or u-url or any one of a number of things. As I said, I have only my phone so it is hard to give better guidance.
