It’s mostly up to the implementation. For example, in http://Micro.blog, a Micropub delete really deletes the post, and we don’t support undelete.

KevinMarks, I currently use http://micro.blog but for a while I've been considering something more hand-rolled, something where I really understand all the pieces. But my technical expertise extends only to HTML & CSS and I don't even have a good handle on things like Flex and Grid. I'm not really interested in learning anything beyond just brushing up my HTML & CSS right now. I know I can easily get a site up with an h-card and

[capjamesg] I have. Mastodon can be configured to require all GETs to be signed. Personally I find that totally unnecessary, but it is what it is. If a GET fails in http://Micro.blog, a re-sign the request with the user’s account if I know who the request is on behalf of, otherwise I sign it with our generic “help” user.

On MCP, I’ve had someone ask for support in http://Micro.blog too. The more I think about it, the less I want to allow automatic posting via MCP, just in case AI loses it’s mind. But seems really useful for querying posts so you could use AI for searching and summarizing your blog.
