I've been thinking about alternate scenarios and I couldn't imagine many/any wordpress admins setting up sites that would even do this.

It now supports content negotiation for getting jf2 directly from aaronpk, the only one that I know who does it, and then rel alternate, then mf2, then ogp fallback

[tonz] I'm not using speakerstack (yet?), but I recall early Gutenberg experiments had a slide creation and presentation thing that people were playing with. Not sure where it was hidden or how to use it, but that might be an alternate way to go. I recall photomatt using it in his State of the Word as his presentation too.

Really open rel=alternate though leads to more indieweb use and that bleeds over to more interest in themes with proper mf2 so we can keep properties in HTML

GWG, can you remind me the alternate path that Post Kinds looks for custom template views? i thought it was in the documentation, but I'm not seeing it now

Possibly ... I'm still newer to this than I'd like. By the way, that alternate URL worked. I'm gonna have to reconfigure my feeds and channels, though, because it's empty.

alright, well, I’ll check back in a week to see if there’s been anymore discussion about the plan. At this point, I’m really hoping that rel=alternate works out, no one has to worry about mf2 in their theme, and I can move back to a static site.
