It now supports content negotiation for getting jf2 directly from aaronpk, the only one that I know who does it, and then rel alternate, then mf2, then ogp fallback

I wonder if there would be a way to translate the schema.org vocab into mf2 and then use a rel="alternate" like the microformats stream plugin

[miklb] I viewed the rel-alternate "compromise" as a temporary stopgap/side file solution for the interim. While it will open up things to be more accessible to the less technical, it shouldn't be a permanent solution to themes properly executing proper markup.

Really open rel=alternate though leads to more indieweb use and that bleeds over to more interest in themes with proper mf2 so we can keep properties in HTML

GWG, can you remind me the alternate path that Post Kinds looks for custom template views? i thought it was in the documentation, but I'm not seeing it now

Possibly ... I'm still newer to this than I'd like. By the way, that alternate URL worked. I'm gonna have to reconfigure my feeds and channels, though, because it's empty.

[tantek] the by-name „feed“ was only added because it is an extra/alternate file... the idea was to also support rsvp and all other usecases...

[asuh] even given your choice, it's always nice to see alternate examples. Here's another interesting one that's done as a plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/narwhal-microblog/

If each So what I am asking [pfefferle] could we use a plugin that adds a rel+alternate link and points to the same page based on post kind with the correct properties

GWG, Post Kinds has the ability to find all the reads at /kind/read/. I'm curious if there's a URL path to find the alternate versions of reading / want to read / finished reading?
