Rewriting appears to be disabled. Usually this means "AllowOverride None" is set in apache2.conf which prevents Known's .htaccess from doing its thing. yep. Just tested same link on a new note in local install and live install. Local worked fine. They are mirrors of each other. Has to be something in my nginx conf I think

btw, I have poked around the code for chat.indieweb.org a bit. Did I miss it (not terribly familiar with structure of PHP projects), or is the bit sending new messages to the nginx-push-thingy not in there?
