If I force a `max-inline-size` on that image, I see the rest of the nav, and some pretty fun animations, though the placement is still a bit broken. I'm in Firefox, if that helps, but I also don't see any obvious CSS that would be causing this level of placement

I think the reason that everything appears interactive to me is that there are links there (`` elements), but they're hidden behind the giant ferret image, which itself is a link, it just doesn't go anywhere
