[tantek.com] If you added a #Mastodon / #ActivityPub follow form to your #IndieWeb site based on Bridgy Fed (e.g. using code/instructions I previously posted¹), you need to update it to add another invisible input element for the "protocol", e.g.:... #indieweb uses a set of standards such a microformats and webmentions. With those things in place it can be part of the Fediverse via ActivityPub with a little help from briding services such as Bridgy Fed https://fed.brid.gy/ (https://fed.brid.gy/r/https://techlifeweb.com/blog/2023/05/2023-05-26-post-045/)

One of the additional plugins, Enable Mastodon apps didn't work for me, tried the AP/Friends ecosystem both under PHP 7.4 and 8.2 and neither worked. Couldn't even find my site from my Mastodon account, let alone connect to it as its own instance, so I kicked it to the curb and switched to Bridgy Fed

It looks like we don't have a page for "Bridgy FedOof" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "Bridgy FedOof is ____", a sentence describing the term)
