I think a photo that isn't the Bridgy logo would be effective, but I'm not sure what.

I'm going to share this on the fediverse and Bluesky soon as early outreach for eventually launching Bluesky support in Bridgy Fed. any thoughts before I do? https://snarfed.org/2023-11-27_re-introducing-bridgy-fed

[snarfed.org] Hi! I’m Ryan. I’ve been building social network bridges and related tools for over 12 years, including Bridgy, which connects personal web sites and blogs to centralized social networks, and Bridgy Fed, which connects them to the fediverse.... I collected some options in https://github.com/snarfed/bridgy-fed/issues/551 but they're all only partial for what I want

I thought the official apps limited to 500 characters per post but some in that link appear to go over that. I know via Bridgy Fed it can be longer, so it's just an artificial limit by the apps

I probably would discourage people from hosting alternative instances of Bridgy Fed itself. it has functionality that depends on its specific subdomains, and having different versions running in different places could confuse end users who need support, etc
