[jonnybarnes.uk] For some reason Bridgy isn’t finding webmention targets when trying to back feed Mastodon posts? (https://jonnybarnes.uk/notes/QR)

I also can't post via Bridgy to Bluesky manually right now either so it's something going on there.

I'm getting `The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application` from Bridgy.

bridgy sends webmentions for likes/reposts of the note to both the note and the article, because the mastodon reposts do include a link to the article

also wm != pingback != bridgy != wmio etc. you can have "plain" webmentions without any of the rest of those, and using those as an excuse to get rid of webmentions shows a lack of understanding of webmentions

the slightly broader version of that is: prioritize web <=> protocol-X in Bridgy Fed right now more than protocol-Y <==> protocol-X
