also I haven't followed whether the 4.2 changes affected what they expect in incoming federated AS2 tags/content etc. if anyone wants to investigate, feel free to update https://github.com/snarfed/bridgy-fed/issues/45

but clicking on the second column for the update (e.g. "a minute ago") shows no log found? [snarfed] did this update of an article post surface a logging bug in Bridgy Fed? https://fed.brid.gy/web/tantek.com

not fully indieweb relevant, but I got a small piece of Bluesky on Bridgy Fed working end to end: search for @jay.bsky.team@atproto.brid.gy in any fediverse server. it surfaces their Bluesky profile. replace jay.bsky.team with any Bluesky handle

also noticed that on firefish (and probably misskey) bridgy fed users appear as @<domain>@fed.brid.gy because misskey doesn't allow webfinger to be on a different domain and firefish hasnt done anything to change that. iirc misskey devs are actively against allowing different webfinger domains

[snarfed] would it be possible to get around the http://fed.brid.gy links being everywhere by allowing users to setup a cname from like, activitypub.<domain> to bridgy fed?
