Got it... I think. I had to network enable the Indie Auth plugin and use the main (network) site instead of the subsite but it works fine so far.

...I did get distracted and try to add microformats and webmentions...failed on both attempts...but something to tinker with lot of xml kruft lying arond though in Doku, can explain more in Dev...but as a wiki it works well

and the css is definitely loaded, and the cache has been emptied, then why on earth would the text not be right-aligned? And if I add the same CSS as a new rule in Fiorefox devtools, it works exactly as I expect.
