Hi there, can anyone help me to log in to https://xn--sr8hvo.ws/ or webmention.io via IndieAuth? I have no problems with indieauth.com but with all services that use indielogin.com. I now have a selfauth installation as authorisation_endpoint. Previously I used the indieauth.com service, which didn't work either

Unless you really want to dive into it, writing your own is probably not worth it. I’ve seen goldmark mentioned a few times recently. https://github.com/yuin/goldmark

Yes I am aware those websites might've had some very unsavoury content but it even then it is a part of the nature of the web to allow these unsavoury content to exist *as long as they are NOT obviously illegal(mainly CSAM or ecommerce of very illegal goods

Websites like the daily storm or kiwifarms are examples of sites taken down by cloudflare because (and i'm not even joking here) the CEO of the company woke up one day and decided that these people were too much of assholes to be allowed to exist, and so their sites were taken down

capjamesg[d]: Very nice article! The issue is many places on the internet benefit from discussion platforms and those platforms usually need so much computing power due to needing to process all the incoming requests that they almost require external hosting to be practical
