↩️ so it turns out this works. I can type in “aaron@parecki.com” in an indieauth prompt and it works. because that is a URL.

I can use simonwillison.net to sign in using my datasette-indieauth plugin because it has code that looks for `<link rel="authorization_endpoint" …` on the page and, if that’s missing, redirect to `https://indieauth.com/auth?me=…` and rely on that to scan for RelMeAuth and redirect back again if it works

↩️ XML was just due to the era. It works, especially if the tools do it on my behalf. I deal with it all the time in the world of insurance. "It is what it is." But you've given me some things to think about re: WebMention, etc. and I appreciate it. Good feedback.
