I meant that it is mostly a matter of “find a library you trust, run it, hope it works”. I wouldn’t really recommend people to start digging into building it themselves.

I POSSE via ifttt -> twitter and tumblr, then have a separate autoposter do twitter -> mastodon. It works well enough.

Yesterday I had a swell time making static HTML versions of my wekan boards. I've still got to populate a zip file with the css and any images, but I'm rather glad it works without the JS and makes it read-only

Yeah I used to try loads, but in my web circles I mainly see the react ones, eleventy and maybe a bit of Hugo as the modern options. Although it's a static site generator, doesn't need to be modern as long as it works for you
