to be fair, we have seen conflicts, eg https://github.com/snarfed/bridgy-fed/issues/348 , but they're rare, generally only from experience people doing sophisticated things that they're generally able to debug and handle

Bridgy was setup for future backfeding purpose. I'm not sure removing any would be a good idea

sdavidprince one issue is that your site advertises two webmention endpoints, Bridgy first and then http://webmention.io, and senders will generally only send to one, probably the first one
