  • You’re welcome! I’ve taken a long time to understand how to use everything in a classic theme and experiment with what block themes can and can’t do, but it’s very limited. The future of WordPress being block themes means some of the fundamental needs for integrating Indieweb features seems fuzzy. Such as, how much would it matter today if MF2 were actually embedded in core, with respect to block themes?

  • In my past few years mentoring grad students and some of their projects I point out the issues they will likely run into and how to plan for them. The guidance sometimes gets ignored and the lessons learned become their lived memory. Other times they hit them and they have a plan in place that works or helps deal with the issues.
