[tantek] I used "unpublished draft" to emphasise that despite having a URL, the post is not yet published as a full post on my site.

ah, i don't see aaronpk's example on there - he has (had?) a feature on his site for stories on his homepage. if he has recently posted one, his avatar gets a halo and clicking on the avatar brings up the ephemeral post.

The email message is just the delivery method for the links in your example, right? It's not saying "email user@example.com can read this post"

[tantek] true! people get passwords too. so if you email a password along with the post url, and it prompts for the password, then sure

PTD says "If this processed name property value is NOT a prefix of the processed content, Then it is an article post [Else] It is a note post."

I'm not on any silos. I guess I'm talking more from what a non-techy, non-computer person would regard as a note. I just took a second look at Tantek's post. It appears that *all* the content is in the <title> element!

Tantek's post definitely would violate the length constraints of a "tweet" but different platforms have different max lengths.
