So my indienews post still has that wonky headline. I did make an alteration to the markup since I submitted - is there something I can do to intervene so the newsletter has the correct headline tomorrow?

All new posts have that state by default. The UI has a "Publish" button and a "Save and Keep Unpublished" button. Once it's published, though, there isn't a "verb" button to unpublish it; instead under the post settings you can check the "Unpublished" box.

In ProcessWire it has an "unpublished" state, which is basically a draft. The post has a URL but it's not public on the site and would 404 if anyone other than a signed in admin accessed it.
