Posts are very infrequent because I often don't have anything I need to post there because it's too long to put on Mastodon or Bluesky, where most of my posting is done nowadays, but the website is also useful for having a centralized catalog of links to my various social media pages online and domains are cheap so my dad keeps paying for it, thankfully

I have had a blog since 2015, jacobatice.com. It used to be a self-hosted WordPress site but when my dad who pays for hosting switched to using WordPress.com for his site I converted it to a static site on GitLab Pages. Currently it's hosted on and generated by Netlify from a repo on GitLab

Once you dip into it you might find you want to swap it out for a different static site generator but it's a good path
