Re: Simple Location bugs: I'm unable to add location to a post when adding it from the native WP add-new-post screen, but it works fine with Micropub. Not getting any visible errors though. Re: backdating posts and adding historical weather: I haven't played with this yet mostly because I haven't figured out how to do it, but that would be fun. I have a lot of backdated stuff on the site and love adding weather/location to my posts.

if you change the redirect URL in the URL to add the https://indieauth.com then it works

it really does, had to come up with a solution for pixelfed because we had a lot of spam. Its not perfect but it works pretty well

↩️ I use @rem's webmention library to do this. It's a little experimental because I'm not sure I'm using it quite how it's intended to be used, but it works well! See link. https://glitch.com/edit/#!/lean-send-webmentions?path=dispatch-mentions-for-post.js I reckon it's healthy to have options though. I'd love to see what you've got.
