Hm, yeah I'm still very much in Bridgy Classic Publish mindset. It's not too often, but not rare that I post a note I don't intend to POSSE or federate

I still use the diagrams in Bridgy classic when you click the Mastodon button: https://brid.gy/which-bridgy , and I definitely agree that they're valuable for web users specifically. they felt too big and heavy and single-protocol to keep on the front page, but I should put them back into the docs at least

1 already on BF, the current (normal) user flow is, publish a post, webmention Bridgy from that post permalink. add to this: BF checks for u-pinned-on property on that post with value of the homepage of that user. if that exists, then BF adds it to the profile of that user and sends a profile update to Mastodon followers. if not, then BF checks the profile of that user to see if that post was pinned for that user previously, and if so,

yeah. I guess on an individual post right now the only consumer would be BF, so it's more of a special utility mf2 like the u-bridgy-omit-link

I find the table on https://20231226t135650-dot-bridgy-federated.uc.r.appspot.com/ overwhelming.
