I'm working on Webmentions implementation on my blogging platform (Madblog). If it works I'd also like to submit a PR to WriteFreely. in regards to my question earlier, I think I am going to start calling it GET-style webmention (in comparison to POST-style webmention) as opposed to passive webmention (active webmention) because "passive" implies that it is found rather than sent and that's not actually how it works

LibraryThing’s phone apps also use the phone’s camera as a scanner and it works well. It needs the book’s barcode to get the information. It works well. But, it doesn’t have the bar code stickers.
