@tantek I honestly appreciate your thoughts on this, but I don't know where this leaves me and any other non-coders trying to be a part of this community when we're simply using the tools we have the knowledge to use. I have no problem removing analytics, but it doesn't change the fact that the way WordPress sites (to the best of my knowledge) operate, they have ot have the gdpr options. I have run Docker desktop for years on Mac, but occasionally (about twice a year) decides Docker and Mac seem to believe they are in alternate timelines and just don’t believe in each other.

E.g. this was a useful prod to learn about how I can explore APIs that don’t have documentation. I just learned that there are indeed preview thumbnails that I should be using instead of the full res, and even blurred versions for the loading placeholders before that.
