And on a similar note, I just cleaned up a list of writing prompt/exercises I've made: https://zacharykai.net/notes/sparks If you use these for a blog post, I'd love to see it!

I've created a list of words/phrases I frequent in writing which I can replace/remove for stronger prose for editing, but thought it might be useful: https://zacharykai.net/notes/pp Hope this is okay to post here!

Since IG carousels can be photos or videos or a mix, I wonder if carousel is more of a special kind of /collection post

A multi-photo (also called a carousel on Instagram) is a photo post with multiple adjacent photos, either in a series, or tiled / arranged in some layout https://indieweb.org/carousel

The world is a mess. I invite you to carve out a couple hours to watch “What’s Up Doc?” this month. It’ll be fun. Once you do, post about it! https://artlung.com/whatsupdoc-imc/

[jeremycherfas] yes a collection post could also make sense. More in #indieweb-dev since this is about specific semantics and use in indieweb contexts rather than about microformats in general

[jeremycherfas] re: u-photo in #microformats , neither. For "preferred image to use when sharing": u-featured. For "all the images in an article": img tag, no u-photo bc it's not a "photo post"

I think mine would be classed as a collection post rather than multi-photo

Depends on what you're trying to convey. You can use u-featured for a representative image, multiple u-photo is a multi-photo post - there's a good discussion of alternatives here https://indieweb.org/multi-photo

[snarfed]: bridgy does not delete post from fediverse if i delete from bsky. I'm published reply but forgot to change language in interface. I'm delete reply and created new with right language. In fediverse it looks as duplicated posts
