  • **Ciprnode zero** is the first working implementation of a ciprnode, a PoC. It's built on Deno+SQLite, strict Semantic RESTful API (HATEOAS, HAL+JSON, QUERY method...), viral P2P propagation, DNS TXT triple validation, multi-platform single binary. MIT licensed.

  • The **Cipr** (Cosmic Index of Public Resources) is a decentralized, distributed, and censorship-resistant web index where domain owners control their own entries. No crawler decides if you are worth indexing. No curator approves your submission. No central authority can delist you. You own a domain, you run a small daemon ―a ciprnode―, you add a DNS TXT record, and your site is in the index, worldwide, in minutes.

  • https://godui.design/docs/components/collaboration/presence-facepile - I'm not sure there is much to these. Having a quick look around, all "avatar groups" seem very similar, with circular avatars and a slight overlap.

  • Everytime I set up a new domain there is always one odd step. Each host I’ve had over the years (I think I’m on my 7th or 8th) has things that make it easier, but none have good forms that map what credential it actually needs. Then there is the odd time where it is just waiting on really slow DNS propagation.

  • Pardon the snark last evening. Slack single tilde is a huge pain as I found out it added it when trying to get a budget proposal sorted out with colleagues and we were using ball park numbers and used the tilde a lot. One day all of our numbers in messages all had strikethroughs. That may have been around 2013 or 2014.

  • Also that's a great use case for a structured and formatted summary!
