personally (IMO) I don't think it's either accurate or useful to refer to a personal "all" feed as a "firehose" because that dilutes (so to speak) the actual meaning of "you can't possibly consume this via RSS etc." that motivated silos to create their "firehose" features as proprietary streaming APIs
