(I think this is dev, happy to move if I'm wrong!) Is webmention something that will only work with certain themes? (I'm thinking something that would work on ClassicPress here). Are there other blogging formats on which it works? Like Jekyll or Hugo?

I wouldn't suggest it for long-form editing, but I use WorkFlowy for drafting pretty much everything these days. It works well offline, and will autosync once reconnected, which has pretty much always meant seamless switching between my phone (for jotting down ideas on the go) and PC (for fleshing them out)

Kotlin has a nice HTML DSL library, usually used for server side rendering but it works great for static generation templates

I’m using the http://webmention.io’s builtin RSS feed (the one that is called Mentions Feed in the Settings tab), and it works just fine for me. Was there a particular reason you chose not to use that one? (https://evgenykuznetsov.org/en/reactions/2020/webmention-rss/)
