Hi folks, I'm trying to get Known working on nginx and (a) the one blog post I saw on indieweb wiki about it is 404'd now, and (b) I'm not quite clever enough to figure out how I'd need to deviate from the default instructions to get there :)

Apropos nothing: I set-up Caddy as a reverse proxy to get local https working on a spoof domain at work today. And wow. I just can’t get over how different this experience was from previous messing with Apache or nginx

you have < 1s to load any page as it free's up my server to have the service-worker configured that way. It's 30s at nginx I believe

CLI installer to the rescue! Disovered that and was able to proceed. Now getting not found errors so I'm sure that's the nginx vs. mod_rewrite problem

Possible problems are my php+nginx isn't configured correctly, the the selfauth index.php and an info.php page work in that directory. Also perhaps Indigenous has a bug after all, but at the moment I'm out of ideas for further debugging my php setup and also unclear where else I could test my endpoint.

AndySylvester: Don't forget that Bluehost runs an Nginx proxy out front on most of their servers that might interfere with that auth routine. Or might require a flush when you make changes. I like that setup but sometimes it gets a bit 'in the way' if you forget it.
