simpleauthority, yeah the current IndieAuth spec specifies POST for the token validation. There are a couple other token implementations that might be helpful for self hosting, https://indieweb.org/Mintoken and https://indieweb.org/gimme_a_token

Hmm, actually, I'm thinking maybe I'll write my code such that it tries the POST request first, and on failure, fall back to the GET request. Although, I'm curious - was this in the spec / should it still be in the spec? In any case, thanks for the info!

Checked the code - it does not support the POST-validation method. Is there another service to use for this so we can bootstrap our micropub development, or is it more of a roll your own thing nowadays?

Hi all, question. I'm reading the indieauth spec and it says to validate an access token, we "should" send a post request to the token endpoint with the token parameter. However, tokens.indieauth.com says to use a GET request with the token in the header. Does anyone know if tokens.indieauth.com also supports the "by spec" method or is this really
