↩️ Much more genuine than here and with much more potential! Though I will make the IndieWeb my home eventually and only federate / bridge to Mastodon, but for now it works as a home. It’s built on solid, open and somewhat composable sets of standards, so technically it’s okay

↩️ The "fediverse" is the thousands of linked servers using the ActivityPub protocol. There are only a few thousand users at IndieWeb, but I can follow users anywhere. ↩️ There are a number of ways to bring in Mastodon content. WordPress has the ActivityPub plug in and combined with the Indieweb plugin, it works pretty well to both push posts out and bring in comments from Mastodon. Top-level posts seem like they'll need other syncing methods.
