[@JessieHealdUK] Static websites are the future. Not every site needs to be dynamically generated. Having a #blog served by a complex CMS like WordPress feels unnecessary after using #11ty .... (https://defcon.social/@JessieHealdUK/116066485583516743)

Still on the raw side, but I have homegrown search working satisfactorily. It first does my newer pages, then does the blog posts in WordPress. https://artlung.com/search/?q=indieweb.org ... the way I have it set up I can augment in future to search twitter and flickr posts and anything else I import. The main decision I made for better or worse is to use MySQL and natural language search and a homegrown index.

Bubbybumble, we have a whole #indieweb-wordpress channel because there are so many folks using it and in the past sometimes Wordpress-specific chat would overwhelm the other channels (many of us don't use Wordpress :)
