I am using code largely based on https://github.com/snarfed/bridgy-fed/blob/7d282717585998351dc86ec28c0a369c251c0218/activitypub.py#L818

turned off Bridgy's Medium support too. they effectively killed their API years ago, and gradually rate limited Superfeedr, which Bridgy used for them, down into nothingness. 🤷

/ http://tantek.com" (and links to your post permalink, e.g. via Bridgy Fed) is a pretty strong nudge to display much more comprehensive responses from Webmention, Bridgy Fed etc. on your own posts, even if manually 🙂

Woo! I now have a Mastodon + Bluesky to do POSSE hehe. I'm not sure how to do this more automatically though? Maybe I need to look into bridgy https://garden.patsitive.co.nz/2025-09-05-1
