probably it's mostly that i'm used to it. also the difficulties around the discord<=>irc bridge early on. (i recognize the slack bridge has also had plenty of difficulties over the years)

Previous post looks good on discord, but breaks the link on irc web bridge with trailing > . I'll watch link+edit behavior and see what works best, thanks for the feedback.

yeah sadly the discord bridge doesn't translate `/slash` to wiki links. only web and slack
