I'm above my pay grade in CSS right now. the bluesky icon on my posts on https://snarfed.org/ is a ::before pseudo-selector with url(...) for an image and display: inline-flex width: 16px, and it works great in Firefox, and degrades gracefully in Safari, but is totally broken in Chrome

Maybe the Mastodon approach has found a good middle ground. I’m not sure, we’ll have to see how it works in practice.

gRegor: what is your Signal username? I could maybe publish that. Apple accounts can have email addresses added to it. So I just added an email that will be dedicated to imessage. I'm going to have someone test it for me, and if it works ok, I might publish that to my site, along with the verification code.

capjamesg[d] the grid/wrapping looks good. I might have said 5ch yesterday for a possible layout of that column of checkbox/radios. I'd try 3ch which might feel more even. I did some resizing and bumping up and browser font zoom and I think it works okay.
