aboxsots, are you running the WordPress Webmention plugin on your site? That should handle adding sending and receiving for you, no need to deal with HTML widgets

I'm not sure my WordPress theme allows custom HTML widgets. Maybe with a plugin? Would it be possible to add the Bridgy webmention line within an HTML code snippet instead?

[edit] Hi! I was on this server awhile ago before I had to make a new Discord account and rejoin. That intro's buried by now, so to reintroduce: here's my personal site on the IndieWeb: https://insitze.com. It's about 3 years old, built on WordPress. I use it as a "home on the web" and abide by the POSSE principle for aggregating all my creative works as a musician and creative.

It means that the plugin needs mf2 dependencies to parse Microformats out of content, probably

I would like like to have the post_content set, this way it is more reliable and does not break the site when you deactivate the plugin. I think we should have a way to clear the content, so that it will be re-generated

I had researched that early in blocks as the block parser does that

[snarfed]: Probably the most compatible option is to do it like blocks does... parse the content dynamically
