I am trying to set up webmentions for my blog but it seems cloudflare pages is blocking brid.gy and webmentions.io. I'm searching for a way to disable it in their dashboard but no luck so far. How do I fix this issue? #bridgy #webmention #cloudflare #cloudflarepages #indieweb (https://fe.disroot.org/objects/d730dfda-6dba-42be-b526-2c8ff25c527e)

Bridgy fed isn’t directly related to the IndieWeb ring. Your site was probably generated because someone was looking to follow you from bsky. If you don’t like it you have options to disable the bridge. Or if it’s useful you can configure your domain work as that... (https://fed.brid.gy/r/https://www.ciccarello.me/posts/2025/04/05/7d793/)

GWG, I compose a blog post and then select ✅ Mastodon via Bridgy.

And you were able to publish manually from the Bridgy site?

[snarfed] It occurred to me while thinking about lexicons… What does Bridgy Fed do with 500-char Mastodon posts when bridging to Bluesky?

Hm, verifying DID by text file also failed, and it's still showing the old DID. Are you sure there's nothing that has to happen to disconnect the bridgy fed account from it first?

Is there a way to look up a DID for an existing handle? I'm not sure where this DID came from and I don't think I ever did any DNS stuff for bridgy fed in that regard
