  • Thanks! Is there a tool you like for testing locally? That way I could test without experimenting in public and polluting readers for my (extremely massive and global audience of) existing subscribers?

  • Great, all set up. Thanks [aaronpk] Think I’ve got everything setup correctly. Have set tickets to accept donations, but with the minimum accepted donation being $0. Will put the 10 tickets for previous IndieWebCamp attendees live tomorrow morning, if only to test that everything is working correctly. Then put the GA tickets live in the evening. 🎟 🎉

  • TIL Gmail ignores [bracketed text] in subjects when grouping by thread. So if you get "foo" then "[TEST] foo" it shows up as one thread with subject "foo".

  • We actually used to test for it on purpose in technical interviews to see how easily someone gets off track. My cofounder had a technique they used when he was a PM at Microsoft and we wrote it up to get on top of hackernews, lemme see if we have an old copy around somewhere…

  • ☝ Got to do some experimentation with the above, and copy into and test with legacy theme. _Slightly_ tricky as ofcourse the existing common.css are applied before my custom styles. Will let you know when I think I have something worth testing.
