hi GWG! I've noticed a bug in the micropub plugin (I think) that's bit me a few times over the last few months

[jamietanna] thanks for the heads up on the errant replies and likes on my home page! definitely unintentional, and embarrassing. it's happened a few times recently, I think when micropub requests to wordpress get cut off when they're partially processed, and the db writes aren't transactional. will raise with GWG etc

why: I host a few WordPress sites, that don't have to be WordPress, or even have an online admin system for that, given how infrequently they change. Publii is an offline, GUI, static page creator, and surprisingly OK to use, but the themes and plugins are rather basic. Unfortunately I don't have the capacity to start adding indieweb to it, but it would be quite nice.

[Tim_Nolte] ghost is working on federation, and it’s self-hostable. I’m finding it nicer to use than Wordpress, but I don’t need a lot of customisation.

I do think WordPress is the most popular self-hosted blogging platform for that. I don't remember if Known has that support built-in. I think Drupal may also work with a plugin.

What other self-hosted blogging platforms that support the Fediverse exist, besides WordPress, that folks here are using? Has anyone developed an ActivityPub plugin for CraftCMS? I was looking at checking out WriteFreely as well, but I'd like to hear what folks are usingm

OK, I'll ask over there. I was looking to see what the indieweb site might have but mostly what was mentioned was Known & WordPress.

Great. Thanks. That means I can focus on a single comments.php for styling
