link repair << IndieWeb Example: {{t}} repaired a link in https://tantek.com/2010/031/t2/world-moving-to-html5 to use an Internet Archive version, noting in a parenthetical that the original link and its shortlink were found to 404 as of a more recent date, thus also implying the date of repair. The original post test including old shortlink is still viewable at the Twitter syndicated copy.

It has me thinking that I should test my seasonal emoji script with a screen reader.

(Don't know what a "mock HTTP unit test." I'm afraid I've never created a unit test, and wouldn't even know where to begin. But the link is just what I need.)

Is there a url to test 500 errors? I'd rather not break my own server just to test how my ssg handles fetches to a server that returns 5xx responses.

Zegnat++ for the links. I'll have a look. I'm not sure how much work to put into this. I've only ever submitted one bookmark to IndieNews. So far, I've only done a test case and retrieved a p-name. To make this useful, I'd need a fallback for pages without mf. Probably more than one fallback to be honest.

I’ve dealt with AI/ML since 2008 and done a lot of automation with scripting. I’ll test process scripting with AI if if it is repeatable and stable I’ll turn it into python scripts and run those. AI tools are slow and computationally expensive (in a lot of ways) and for rote processes python scripting is faster and dead on repeatable, which isn’t a strength of generative AI.
