this explains why i have multiple metrics for data use: it never passed through nginx so thats why nginx said i only used like 80 gigs

admittedly not every network request is logged, just the stuff passing through nginx, but there's very little that doesn't pass through nginx. those being `ssh` (handled by cloudflared), `slskd` (i dont get many uploads) and `transmission` (i have speed limits of 500kbps in total)
