There's a h-event to iCal module made by our very own gRegor. But modifying the html that Drupal emits is anything but trivial. That is a path, but it'd be tedious, and, I fear, brittle. I don't really want to put that much work into it only to have it fail at the end.

semi automated. I run those manually on the dev side I can't reliably do that on demand as I would need error handling when the sites fail to load or don't want to be scraped (anubis, cloudflare get in the way)

3DS browser is missing recent root certs and unless I have directly visited a domain I cannot grant an exception. So assets on third party domains, subdomains, fail without extra effort on my part
